Registration Conditions
Registration is available directly on the Register page from November 22, 2022, without pre-registration and lottery. Registration will be via secure payment by credit card.
Sales period
- Registration will be open to runners with a valid UTMB index only from November 22, 2022 at 3pm CET until November 24, 2022 at 2:59pm CET.
- At the end of this period, registrations will be open to runners with or without valid UTMB index until the races are sold out.
- There will be no waiting list.
Minimum age
- Runners of 14 years old or more on the event date can register to KAT 100 Easy Trail.
- Runners of 14 years old or more on the event date can register to KAT 100 Speed Trail.
- Runners of 18 years old or more on the event date can register to KAT 100 Marathon Trail.
- Runners of 18 years old or more on the event date can register to KAT 100 Endurance Trail.
- Runners of 18 years old or more on the event date can register to KAT 100 Ekiden Trail.
- Runners of 18 years old or more on the event date can register to KAT 100 Miles.

Elite Runners: In order to give fair recognition to high level athletes and to ensure a fair management of entry applications, we reserve places for elite athletes according to their Performance Index in the category of the race they chose to compete. Elite runners must register during the registration period. No registration will be accepted after the deadline.

Entry fees can be found on theRegister page here >>. Prices include the local applicable VAT. An additional 8% administration fee will be charged. Those administration fees are not refundable in case of cancelation.

- KAT100 by UTMB Party & free concert (surprise band)
- Sports photographer photo service for participants (pictures may be purchased after the event)
- Free Tracker (only for 100Miles, Ekiden Trails and Endurance Trail)
a) To another runner: Registration is personal. However it is possible to transfer a registration until 2 weeks before the opening of the bib distribution provided that the runner who will benefit from the registration transfer also meets the entry conditions listed above.
The original registration will be refunded and a 30 Euro administration fee will be charged to the runner once the new runner has registered.
Depending on the transfer date, size related goodies might not be available.
b) To another race of the same event: It is possible to transfer a registration to a shorter distance until 2 weeks before the event and in the limit of places available. In this case, no refund will be made.
It is also possible to ask to transfer a registration to a longer distance but the request will not be automatically accepted and will be at the discretion of the race director.
Please contact the event organizer to change distance.

Partial Refund:

Only runners registered to the following distances are entitled to a partial refund:
- KAT 100 Miles
- KAT 100 Ekiden
- KAT 100 Endurance
- KAT 100 Marathon
Pregnancy:
a) For Athletes that are pregnant KAT 100 by UTMB will provide a deferral to the same event the following year with proof of pregnancy or birth certificate of new child(ren)
b) For Athletes that are adopting or birthing via surrogacy KAT 100 by UTMB will provide a deferral to the same event the following year with proof of surrogacy birth or adoption within three months prior to event date.
c) For Athletes with a partner that is pregnant KAT 100 by UTMB will provide a deferral to the same event the following year with proof of due date or delivery on or within one month prior, or two months post event date
